Welcome to our next Community Tech Tip, where we’ll take a closer look at following content on myRICS community and how it can help you keep track of what's happening.

Whenever you create a new thread, respond to an existing post or upload a Library entry, you are automatically set to follow it, ensuring that you receive updates and notifications about any further activity or replies. You can see if you're following a piece of content when the star at the top right is solid blue, and you can also manually follow content that you haven't interacted with by clicking this star when it's white.

You can keep track of the most recent items you've followed in the the My Followed Content panel.

If you'd like to check on everything that you're following you can click on the View all followed content link, you can also see this by visiting your Profile and clicking on My Connections,

If at any time you want to stop following a piece of content, for example if you're getting to many notifications from it, you can simply toggle the Follow function off by clicking on the star again - you can tell when you've unfollowed content as the star will be white.
