This professional standard is concerned with the valuation of medical centres and surgeries occupied by doctors and other similar practitioners for medical or health services in the UK and is available here Valuation of medical centre and surgery premises, it replaces the 2nd edition of the same title which was withdrawn in 2018 and reflects NHS changes to their framework, structure and the Health Building Note (HBN 11 attending to all design and spec matters) and also ESG changes in the Global Red Book.

Applicability to private clinics etc: While the standard doesn't explicitly use the phrase "under contract to the NHS" in the initial scope sentence (snip below) it references that it is not for private healthcare properties
and the entire document is generally built around the specific valuation methodology required for premises where the rent is reimbursed by the NHS. For example, the standard frequently references:
As such the practices and principles described are not generally applicable to a private medical clinic operating outside of this funding structure, however some of the considerations covered eg measurement, may be relevant to such properties.
