Bio

Ann Gray, FRICS, RIBA, FAIA, LEED AP founded GRAY Real Estate Advisors in 1995 providing consulting services to property owners, brokers, and land-use attorneys on entitlements, development, and positioning to optimize outcomes for complex properties. Project types include land, commercial, mixed-use, multi-family  and entertainment.

 

Ann was Executive Director of Development at Paramount Pictures for eight years where she oversaw approximately $350 million in acquisition, master planning, entitlements and design of new construction and remodeling of corporate and production facilities, technical upgrades and utility infrastructure. During her tenure the studio constructed major new office buildings, parking structures, several sound stage technical and seismic upgrades, a new film archive building and many thousands of square feet of corporate and production churn. Prior to her work at Paramount, Ann was Vice President of Development at Indivest where she managed the pre-construction phases of a 22-story Class A office building. Over the course of her career she has been involved in more than a billion dollars in successful project outcomes.

 

Ann is a former Trustee of the California Preservation Foundation, former President of the USC Freeman House, and member of the Downtown Glendale Specific Plan Community Advisory Council. She has served for 6 years on the Governing Council and served as 2023 RICS President.

 

Ann is a frequent lecturer and juror at universities such as USC, UCLA, and Harvard Graduate School of Design and has served on the Dean's Advisory Council at Woodbury University School of Architecture. Ann has been recognized by the National Association of Women Business Owners for her entrepreneurial endeavors and is the recipient of a Los Angeles City Council Citation for her participation as an appointee to the Hollywood Redevelopment Agency Design Review Committee. She has a B.A. in Applied Mathematics and an M. Arch both from UCLA.
